Right-Angled RJ45 Adapter for Tight Cable Routing

This 90-degree Cat 5e adapter connects a male RJ45 plug to a female RJ45 port, letting Ethernet cables turn sharply without stressing the jack. It suits network installers and home users who need a clean cable path behind desks, panels or patch panels.

Verify Port Orientation

Confirm the socket you are plugging into has enough side clearance for the adapter body. Ensure the existing patch cord is rated Cat 5e or higher so the link keeps its rated performance.

Replaces Straight-Through Couplers When Space Is

Use this instead of a straight inline coupler whenever a cable must exit a port at a right angle. The upgrade is worth it when a straight connector would kink the cable, block adjacent ports or exceed the bend radius allowed by the installation.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy a cable separately?

The adapter is the only item supplied; you must provide your own Ethernet patch cord to connect it.

Which version should I choose for a Cat 5e network?

This model is rated for Cat 5e FTP, STP and UTP cables, so it matches a standard Cat 5e installation.

What does the 90 degree angle do once the adapter is plugged in?

The right-angled plug lets the cable run parallel to the wall or device, reducing strain on the port in tight spaces.
