Converts a 20-pin ATX power supply to a 24-pin motherboard connector for Socket 775 or dual-Xeon boards
This TeKit adapter converts a 20-pin ATX power supply connector to a 24-pin motherboard socket. It allows an older 20-pin power supply to feed a newer 24-pin board without replacing the PSU. The cable measures 13 cm and carries two connectors in a multi-colour wiring harness. It is aimed at builders upgrading legacy systems.
The adapter fits Socket 775 motherboards and dual-Xeon server boards that require a 24-pin feed while the PSU only offers 20 pins. It is not for builds where the power supply already provides a native 24-pin connector. Buyers who need extra length for full-tower routing should look elsewhere because the lead is only 13 cm long.
The 13 cm harness bridges the 20-pin to 24-pin gap on standard ATX pinouts used by Socket 775 and dual-Xeon platforms. It handles the power delivery those boards expect from a 20-pin source. The short length leaves no slack for distant motherboard headers in large cases, and it adds no extra connectors beyond the single 24-pin female end.

Your power supply must provide a 20-pin ATX female connector for the cable to plug into.
Yes, it converts the 20-pin supply output to the 24-pin input that Socket 775 boards require.
The system should POST and boot normally; if it fails to start, re-seat both the 20-pin and 24-pin connections.
