Power Extension Cord NEMA 5-15P to C19

This ten-foot power extension cord connects a standard NEMA 5-15P wall outlet to an IEC 60320 C19 inlet on servers, switches or power distribution units. It is built for data-centre and network equipment that requires a high-current C19 connection. The cord is UL and cUL listed and CSA certified for North American safety compliance.

15 A 125 V rating on 14 AWG copper conductors

The cable uses H05VV-F 3G 2.08 mm² (14 AWG) oxygen-free copper conductors rated for 15 amps at 125 volts. Both the male NEMA 5-15P plug and the female C19 receptacle are moulded with 35P PVC for strain relief. This gauge and rating combination is the single specification that determines whether the cord can safely power a given device.

Sustained load performance

Under continuous operation the 100 % copper conductors and shielding maintain stable current delivery without the voltage drop seen in thinner cords. The moulded connectors resist heat build-up during extended use in rack environments. Equipment needing more than 15 A or a different inlet type cannot use this cord.
