Package Contents

This accessory package is built for the TV-85 telescope and bundles an 18.2mm DeLite eyepiece with a 2" 90° Everbrite diagonal and a 2" to 1.25" adapter. The set delivers a 62° apparent field of view and 20mm eye relief for comfortable, immersive observing sessions.

Who This Suits

Owners of the TV-85 who want a wide-field, long-eye-relief eyepiece and a high-reflectivity diagonal in one matched kit. Observers who need a different focal length, a straight-through diagonal, or a 1.25"-only diagonal should look at other configurations.

Deciding Specification

The 18.2mm DeLite eyepiece provides a fixed 62° apparent field of view and 20mm eye relief; if your observing style demands a wider apparent field, shorter focal length, or different eye relief, this package will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

Which eyepiece focal length comes in the TV-85 accessory package?

The package includes the 18.2 mm DeLite eyepiece, providing a 62° apparent field of view and 20 mm eye relief for comfortable, immersive observing sessions.

What does the 62° apparent field of view mean when I am at the telescope?

A 62° apparent field gives a wide, immersive window on the sky while the 20 mm eye relief lets you see the full circle comfortably, even with glasses on.

How much light does the 2" Everbrite diagonal actually reflect?

Its dielectric coating delivers 99% reflectivity across the visual spectrum on a Pyrex mirror held to /10 flatness, so the TV-85 transmits virtually all gathered light to the eyepiece.
