Telefunken M81-WH Wireless Supercardioid Dynamic Microphone Capsule Yellow

Telefunken M81-WH Wireless Capsule

The Telefunken M81-WH is a wireless supercardioid dynamic microphone capsule finished in yellow. It delivers condenser-like performance with minimal proximity effect and superior feedback rejection. The capsule is acoustically identical to the wired M81 Standard and M81-SH models. It is built for vocal and instrumental applications demanding articulate mid-range and a flatter frequency response.

Compatible Transmitter Systems

This capsule integrates with Lectrosonics HH and HHa transmitters, the Sony UTX-M03, and select Shure transmitter models. It does not support Shure BLX, GLXD, or PGXD systems. Buyers using those excluded Shure series or transmitters from other manufacturers not listed should look at alternative capsules designed for those specific platforms.

Supercardioid Polar Pattern

The supercardioid pattern minimizes background noise and focuses capture on the primary sound source. This directional characteristic provides the feedback rejection required for loud stage environments. Users needing a wider pickup area for group vocals or ambient room capture will find this pattern too restrictive for those scenarios.
