What this adapter does and who uses it

This four-pack of Temdan Lightning to USB C adapters connects iPhone 15, 16 and 17 series models to USB-C cables for charging and data sync. Each gray adapter is marked non-OTG and does not support audio, video or peripheral functions such as flash drives, card readers, microphones or HDMI converters. The built-in 56 K pull-up resistor helps regulate charging current for safer power delivery.

Sustained charging and data behaviour

During extended charging sessions the adapter maintains the rated 480 Mbps data transfer ceiling without a separate driver install. The aluminum body and included silicone sleeves keep the connector seated on the cable, reducing intermittent contact when the phone is moved while plugged in. No active cooling or firmware is involved, so performance stays consistent as long as the host port supplies standard USB power.

What it replaces and when the switch helps

The set replaces individual Lightning-to-USB-A cables or single dongles for users who have moved to USB-C laptops, power banks or car chargers. Buying four at once covers home, office, travel bag and a spare without re-pairing cables each time. It is not a substitute for OTG hubs, audio dongles or any accessory that requires host-mode support.

Questions about this item

Does the 56 K pull-up resistor keep the adapter cool during all-day charging?

The built-in 56 K pull-up resistor is designed for safer charging, not for thermal management; the adapter has no active cooling and its temperature will depend on the power drawn by the connected iPhone 15 or 16.

Which cables or ports must I already have to use this Lightning to USB C adapter?

You need a USB Type C cable and a USB Type C port on the host device such as a laptop or charger; the adapter itself provides the Lightning connector for iPhone 15, 16 or 17 models.

Will this adapter work with my older Lightning headphones or Apple Pencil?

No; the product notes state it does not support OTG, audio, video, Lightning headphones, Apple Pencil or any other Lightning accessory beyond charging and data sync.
