LAN Cable Tester for Installers

The Tenmars TM-901N is a handheld tester built for electricians and network installers who verify twisted-pair cabling. It identifies opens, shorts, miswires and split pairs on UTP and STP LAN cables. A backlit LCD shows the wire map, fault type and remote ID on one screen. Up to eight remote locators can be used for multi-run testing.

The unit measures 130 by 56 by 38 millimetres and weighs about 160 grams. Its RJ-45 connectors accept standard patch cords for direct wire-map checks. Auto backlight activates in low light and auto power-off preserves the 9V and six 1.5V batteries during pauses. A carrying case, test cable and one remote ID are included in the box.
