Double Tier Locker for Office Storage

The Tennsco DTS121836AMG is a double tier locker built for offices that need secure personal storage in a compact footprint. Each unit provides two separate compartments so two people can store coats and bags in the space of a single full-height locker. Heavy-gauge steel construction with tamper-proof hinges and a 2-point locking mechanism keeps belongings safe. Recessed black metal handles and included number plates add convenience without protruding into aisles.

Capacity and Ventilation Details

Two openings per locker give each user plenty of hanging room for shirts and jackets while doubling density compared with single-tier units. Vertical louvers on the doors supply continuous airflow to reduce odours and moisture inside each compartment. Full-length door stiffeners add rigidity and dampen sound when doors are opened or closed. The medium gray finish resists wear in high-traffic corridors.

Upgrade Path and Ganging Option

This locker replaces single-tier cabinets when floor space is limited but personal storage demand has grown. The jump is worth it when you need twice as many secure compartments without expanding the room. Multiple rows can be ganged together using standard nuts and bolts sold separately to create a continuous bank. SCS Indoor Advantage Gold certification confirms low chemical emissions for healthier indoor air quality.

Questions about this item

Will the 12w x 18d x 72h footprint line up with my existing Tennsco single-tier cabinets?

The locker measures 12 inches wide, 18 inches deep and 72 inches high, so it shares the same depth and height as standard Tennsco single-tier units of that depth.

How can I confirm the 2-point locking mechanism is engaging properly on each door?

Close the door and turn the handle; the latch should throw both top and bottom bolts into the frame with a solid click and the padlock hasp should sit flush.

Are the number plates and ganging hardware included, or do I need to order them separately?

Number plates are supplied with each locker; standard nuts and bolts for ganging multiple rows are sold separately.
