Mobile Work Cart

The Tennsco SC-2436 is a two-shelf metal cart built for offices, warehouses and light-industrial spaces. It provides a stable platform for moving tools, supplies or paperwork between workstations. The medium-gray finish suits professional environments.

Thermals Noise Power

As a passive piece of furniture the cart generates no heat, draws no power and produces no operating noise. The four PVC casters — two swivel and two stationary — roll quietly across hard floors and low-pile carpet.

Upgrade Path

This unit replaces single-shelf carts or stationary tables when a second tier and a reversible flat work surface are needed. The 25 percent total recycled content, with 20 percent post-consumer material, and SCS Indoor Advantage Gold certification make the jump worthwhile for buyers tracking sustainability targets.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the four PVC casters and which orientation is the step people get wrong?

Bolt the two swivel casters to the front corners and the two stationary casters to the rear corners; installing the stationary casters at the front is the common mistake that makes the cart hard to steer.

What part of the SC-2436 will need replacement first under daily rolling?

The PVC caster wheels wear faster than the steel frame; plan to swap the two swivel casters when they develop flat spots or wobble.

At what load does the 3 3/8-inch lip on the shelves start to deform during sustained use?

The lip is formed from the same gauge steel as the tray; permanent bending typically appears first when loads exceed the cart's rated capacity and the shelf centres deflect downward.
