TerraWave 2.4/5GHz 6dBi Directional Antenna

This dual-band directional antenna delivers 6 dBi gain across 2.4 and 5 GHz frequencies for high-density Wi-Fi deployments. It features four RPTNC connectors with 36-inch leads to simplify cabling to compatible access points. The patch design suits indoor or outdoor installations where focused coverage is required.

Sustained load performance

Horizontal beamwidths of 105° and 125° combine with vertical beamwidths of 60° and 70° to concentrate signal where capacity is needed most. The antenna operates continuously from -40° to +158° F without performance degradation. RoHS-compliant construction supports long-term reliability in demanding environments.

Pre-order checklist

Verify your access point provides four RPTNC ports to match the four leads supplied. Confirm the mounting surface can support a 65 lb unit measuring 10 x 5.6 x 1.4 inches. Ensure wall or mast mounting hardware suits the intended location and structural capacity.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 6 dBi directional antenna generate when running continuously?

The antenna is a passive component with no active electronics, so it produces no measurable heat during operation.

Which access point interfaces are required to connect the four RPTNC leads?

The antenna needs an access point with four reverse-polarity TNC ports, such as Cisco's latest APs, to use all four dual-band leads.

Will the 36-inch pigtails reach a wall-mounted AP if I keep my existing mast bracket?

The 36-inch leads and included articulating mount support both wall and mast mounting, allowing flexible placement with your current bracket.
