36-Inch Real Moving Gear Wall Clock

The Gears Clock 36-inch vintage black wall clock uses real moving gears to create a living decorative element. An analog face with Roman numerals sits inside a round wooden frame finished in an industrial steampunk style. The oversized diameter makes it a focal point for residential or commercial interiors.

Gear Mechanism and Power

Two AA batteries drive the visible gear train while a third AA battery powers the timekeeping movement. The gears produce a soft mechanical sound that adds ambient character to the room. Wood and plastic construction gives a vintage industrial appearance with unmolded edges.

Installation and Handling Check

Verify the wall can support a 36-inch round clock and that you have a suitable hanging point. The delicate clock hands require careful removal from the packaging to avoid bending. Three AA batteries are not included and must be sourced separately before the clock will operate.

Questions about this item

Will the moving gears or clock mechanism need periodic lubrication or part replacement?

The real moving gears are driven by two AA batteries and the clock movement by a third; no lubrication schedule or user-serviceable parts are indicated.

What stops the gears from running continuously during all-day operation?

Gear motion lasts only while the two dedicated AA cells hold charge; the clock hands keep time on their own separate AA battery.

How much heat or audible sound does the clock produce when the gears run all day?

The manufacturer describes a relaxing gear noise and no noticeable heat; power comes from three standard AA batteries.
