16.5 FT Retractable Dog Leash

This 16.5 FT automatic retractable leash gives dogs freedom to explore while keeping them under control. The ABS eco-friendly PP casing and high-strength nylon tape suit daily walks and training sessions. A built-in brake and lock button lets the owner set a fixed length instantly. The silver metal hook attaches securely to any standard collar or harness ring.

Upgrade from fixed-length leads

A fixed lead forces the handler to gather slack or wrap the line around a hand. This retractable design removes that hassle by feeding tape in and out without sagging. The jump is worth it when walks cover varying distances such as parks, trails or city streets. It is not for owners who need a hands-free waist belt or a dual-dog coupler.

Sustained outdoor use

The nylon tape resists fraying during repeated extension and retraction cycles. The brake mechanism holds position even when a dog pulls steadily at the end of the line. The plastic housing withstands normal temperature changes and occasional drops on pavement. Gripping the handle rather than the tape prevents rope-burn during sudden lunges.

Questions about this item

How does the 16.5FT retractable leash attach to my dog's collar?

Clip the silver metal hook directly onto the D-ring of your dog's collar or harness; the hook swivels to prevent twisting during walks.

What is the correct way to lock the leash at a fixed length?

Slide the brake button fully forward away from your hand until it clicks; holding the button halfway causes the tape to slip.

Which part of this leash will wear out first and need replacement?

The high-strength nylon tape and the internal recoil spring are the components that degrade with heavy daily use.
