The Wires Zone White 6.5" 2-Way In-Ceiling Tilted Speaker Pair 30W RMS 100W Peak 6 Ohms

Tilted In-Ceiling Pair for Home Audio

The Wires Zone 6.5" two-way speakers mount flush in the ceiling and direct sound downward with a fixed tilt. Each unit pairs a polypropylene-and-mica woofer with a swivelling polyetherimide dome tweeter. The pair delivers 30 watts RMS and 100 watts peak power at 6 ohms impedance. Aluminium micromesh grilles and built-in over-power protection complete the installation kit.

Suited to stereo or surround layouts needing

These speakers suit rooms where the listening position sits off-axis from the ceiling cut-outs. The 55 Hz low-frequency limit means a separate subwoofer is required for full-range movie soundtracks. Installers who need adjustable tilt angles or paintable magnetic grilles should look at other models. The fixed 261 mm finish diameter also limits retrofit options in tighter joist spaces.

30 watts RMS continuous power handling

The RMS rating is the key figure for matching an amplifier that will drive the pair cleanly at normal listening levels. Peak capacity reaches 100 watts for short transients, while the 6 ohm load and 90 dB sensitivity keep the speakers compatible with most mid-range AV receivers. Select an amp that can supply at least 30 watts per channel into 6 ohms for reliable performance.
