Six-speaker outdoor rock set

The Theater Solutions R4S Sandstone set provides six passive rock speakers designed for permanent outdoor installation. They connect to a home audio receiver or amplifier using CL3-rated raw speaker wire. The sandstone finish blends into yards, patios, pool areas and garden beds.

10-125 watts per channel headroom

Each speaker handles 10 to 125 watts per channel from the amplifier, with 94dB sensitivity at 8 ohms. The 4.5-inch poly mica woofers and ferro-fluid cooled tweeters cover a frequency response of 80Hz to 20kHz. Use 16-gauge wire for runs under 40 feet and 14-gauge wire for longer distances.

Weatherproof cabinets with upward angle

Multi-layer composite cabinets are silicone sealed with rust-resistant steel grilles to withstand rain, snow, salt, ice and pool chemicals. Woofers and tweeters are angled 20 degrees upward to direct sound toward listeners. The sealed voice coils and butyl rubber surrounds protect the drivers during normal outdoor use.

Questions about this item

Will these 94 dB sensitivity speakers work with my older receiver rated at 10 watts per channel?

Yes, the system requires an amplifier with 10-125 watts per channel, so a 10-watt receiver meets the minimum specification.

How can I confirm the 20-degree upward angle is directing sound correctly after installation?

Sit in the listening area; the angled woofers and tweeters should project clear highs and bass toward ear level rather than into the ground.

Does the box include the CL3 rated 16 gauge wire needed for runs under 40 feet?

The box contains six passive rock speakers and an instruction manual; CL3 rated raw wire must be purchased separately.
