24-Port Gigabit PoE Switch

The Thinkstar Jetstream is a smart managed switch built for networks that need power and data over a single cable. It suits small offices, surveillance installs and Wi-Fi deployments where PoE+ devices are spread across many rooms.

250 W PoE+ Budget

Twenty-four RJ45 ports deliver up to 30 W each under the 802.3 at/af standard, but the shared 250 W budget limits how many ports can run at maximum power simultaneously. Four Gigabit SFP slots provide uplink flexibility without consuming PoE budget.

28-Port Capacity and Headroom

The 28-port configuration comfortably handles a typical mix of IP cameras, access points and VoIP phones with room for uplink aggregation. It runs out when total PoE draw exceeds 250 W or when more than 24 powered endpoints are required.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 24 PoE+ ports or the 4 SFP slots for uplinks?

The switch provides 24 PoE+ RJ45 ports at 30W each with a 250W total budget, plus 4 Gigabit SFP slots for fibre uplinks; use the RJ45 ports for powered devices and the SFP slots for backbone links.

What does the 250 W PoE budget mean for my cameras and phones?

It allows up to 30 W per port across all 24 ports simultaneously, so you can run 8 devices at full 30 W or more devices at lower draw without exceeding the budget.

Which management standard does the Omada SDN integration use?

The switch is managed through the Omada SDN platform via hardware controller, software controller or cloud access, with a standalone mode also available for local configuration.
