THQ 02312 ELEX II ps5 video game

THQ ELEX II PS5 Action RPG

ELEX II is a new PS5 action and adventure role-playing game from THQ. It continues the open-world science fantasy experience created by Piranha Bytes, the developers behind the Gothic and Risen series. Players return to the post-apocalyptic planet Magalan to explore a hand-crafted world with a jetpack. The ESRB rating is M for Mature.

Sustained exploration with jetpack traversal

The game behaves as a large single-player campaign where progression depends on faction choices and story decisions made over many hours. You navigate massive environments using a jetpack that enables vertical movement and flight across the entire map. NPCs remember your actions and react dynamically, so the world state evolves continuously rather than resetting after short bursts of activity. This design supports long, unbroken sessions of exploration and narrative consequence.

Upgrades the original ELEX experience

This sequel replaces the first ELEX game with a new threat from the sky, dark Elex powers, and a personal story about finding Jax's son Dex. The jump is worth it for players who want expanded jetpack freedom, deeper faction interactions, and a continuation of the Magalan storyline. Buyers who want a linear shooter or a multiplayer mode will not find those features here.
