Questions about this item

What shaft diameter matches the 20 mm bore of this 6004 bearing?

A 20 mm shaft fits the bore, whose tolerance is +0/-0.010 mm, so the shaft should be at or slightly under 20 mm for a proper press fit.

Will the 42 mm outside diameter and 12 mm width fit the housing I already use for a standard 6004 bearing?

Yes, the 42 mm outer diameter and 12 mm width match the industry 6004 envelope, so existing housings for that size will accept this bearing.

How can I confirm the bearing is running correctly after installation?

Rotate the inner ring by hand; it should turn smoothly with no binding, and the open closure lets you see the steel cage and balls moving freely.
