TRITAN 50BS28H Sprocket for 50 Chain

This TRITAN 50BS28H sprocket is a finished-bore steel component designed for single-strand 50 chain drives. It has 28 teeth, a pitch diameter of 5.582 in and an outside diameter of 5.92 in. The black-oxide finish adds corrosion resistance for industrial power-transmission use.

Check Bore and Keyway Before Ordering

Verify that your shaft measures exactly 1 1/4 in and matches the fixed bore with a 1/4 in wide by 1/8 in deep keyway. Confirm the hub projection of .907 in and the 3 in hub diameter clear adjacent parts. Ensure the two included set screws suit your locking method.

Fits Single-Strand 50 Chain Drives

The sprocket mounts directly on a 1 1/4 in keyed shaft and engages 5/8 in pitch chain. Its 1 1/4 in length through the bore keeps the assembly compact while the black-oxide steel construction handles standard load conditions. No bearings or additional hardware are included.

Questions about this item

Does the sprocket arrive with the two set screws already supplied, or do I need to order them separately?

The sprocket includes two set screws in the box, so no separate purchase is required.

Should I select the 28-tooth version or a different tooth count for my 50-chain drive?

Choose the 28-tooth model when your design calls for a 5.582 in pitch diameter and a 5.92 in outside diameter on a 50-chain drive.

What does the 5.92 in outside diameter mean once the sprocket is mounted on a 1 1/4 in shaft?

It gives a 5.92 in overall diameter with a 3 in hub projecting .907 in, secured by a 1/4 in wide by 1/8 in deep keyway and two set screws.
