Purpose-built recorder for multilingual

The TIMMKOO SR1 captures audio in WAV format to 136GB of internal storage and offers offline transcription in up to 92 languages. Voice-activated and scheduled recording modes enable hands-free operation, while STT Boost, Vocal Boost and Hi-Fi presets adapt to different acoustic environments. A 3.5mm jack supports external microphones and line-in sources for clearer capture.

Sustained operation on a single charge

The lithium-ion cell stores 4.07Wh and weighs 18 grams, delivering 30 hours of continuous recording before recharge. Offline transcription runs locally so no data leaves the device, while online AI summarisation, mind-mapping and translation process only the resulting text. Automatic backup duplicates each file during the save process, protecting against storage failure during long sessions.

Replaces separate dictation hardware

Buyers who need more than 136GB of onboard capacity or who require real-time streaming to a remote server will not be served by this device. The 3.7-inch display and USB-C interface handle file review and export without additional adapters, and the 6-digit auto-lock screen secures recordings at rest.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 4.07 Wh lithium-ion cell generate during a full 30-hour session?

The 4.07 Wh cell is rated for 30 hours of continuous recording; its 18 g mass and compact 0.6 × 1.4 × 4.4 in body stay cool enough to handle without a fan or heatsink.

Which headphones plug straight into the 3.5 mm jack for live monitoring?

Any standard 3.5 mm wired headphones connect directly — no adapter or dongle required — letting you hear playback or live input immediately.

Can the USB-C port pull recorded WAV files from a Windows 7 PC without extra drivers?

Yes, the USB-C interface presents the 136 GB storage as a mass-storage device, so Windows 7 and later mount it automatically for drag-and-drop file transfer.
