Pocket Radio for Travel and Outdoors

The TINNIK FA298 is a 27 g AM FM SW mini radio designed for listeners who want portable reception in a watch-sized device. It suits travellers, walkers and anyone needing a lightweight personal radio for holidays or outdoor activities.

Clip On and Press Play

No installation is required; the integrated clip attaches to a pocket or bag and the rechargeable 400 mAh battery charges via USB. The bundled stereo headphones also act as the external antenna, so forgetting them means losing SW and distant FM reception.

Three-Band Tuner with 20 Presets

The single specification that decides fit is the tuner coverage: FM 87.5-108 MHz, AM 522-1710 kHz and SW 2.3-26.1 MHz with 20 station presets. Buyers who need DAB+, Bluetooth streaming or weather-band alerts should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the OLED screen shows a stable RDS signal on FM 108 MHz after setup?

Tune to a local FM station near 108 MHz and verify the OLED displays the RDS station name and a steady battery icon, indicating the built-in ferrite antenna and headphone-wire antenna are locking correctly.

What accessories are included and what must I supply myself?

The box contains the FA298 radio, a USB charging cable and stereo earphones that double as the long external antenna; no separate battery or power adapter is required.

Should I choose the FA298 if I need short-wave coverage up to 26.1 MHz and 20 presets?

Yes — the FA298 covers SW 2.3–26.1 MHz, stores 20 preset stations and weighs only 27 g, matching those exact requirements.
