Titan CH-4025 battery pack for Motorola radios

The Titan CH-4025 is a 7.4V 2000mAh battery pack designed for Motorola handheld radios including the EX500, EX600, GP338, GP344 and GP388 series. It supplies portable power for professional two-way communication in the field. Users who need a higher capacity cell or a different voltage platform will not find those options in this pack.

Thermals noise and power draw in normal use

The pack delivers a nominal 7.4 volts at 2000mAh capacity for standard transmit and receive cycles. No active cooling or fan is present so operation remains silent during use. Heat generation stays low under typical duty cycles for handheld radio operation.

What the bundled accessories

The product is supplied as the battery unit only with no charger, belt clip or programming software included. Users must provide a compatible Motorola charger separately to replenish the pack. No firmware or configuration tools are bundled with this item.

Questions about this item

How do I install the CH-4025 battery pack into my Motorola GP338, and what step is often missed?

Align the pack with the radio body rails, slide it up until the latch clicks, then verify the charge contacts sit flush against the radio terminals — the click alone does not guarantee contact.

What maintenance will the 7.4V 2000mAh pack need over time?

Store at roughly half charge if unused for weeks, recharge every two to three months to prevent deep discharge, and replace the pack when talk time drops noticeably below its original runtime.

What limit appears first during a long shift with the CH-4025 on an EX600?

The 2000mAh capacity sets the runtime ceiling; expect the radio to power down after the rated ampere-hours are depleted, especially at high transmit power.
