A rugged 2TB portable SSD with IP66 water and dust resistance, drop protection up to 1.5 metres, and NVMe speeds up to 1000 MB/s via USB 3.2 Gen 2
Capacity 2TB
The Titanium Micro Mercury is a 2 TB external solid-state drive built around an NVMe controller. It targets photographers, videographers and other creatives who need fast, durable storage for large media files while working in the field or moving between devices.
The drive connects through a fixed USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C cable with a Type-A adapter included. Sequential reads and writes peak at 1000 MB/s, so the interface itself becomes the bottleneck; sustained transfers will not exceed this ceiling even though the internal NVMe flash can run faster.
With two terabytes of 3D NAND storage, the Mercury suits users who regularly offload high-resolution photo libraries or 4K video footage. Buyers who need more capacity for extensive archives or long-form 8K workflows will have to look beyond this model.

Other versions of this model
The Mercury portable SSD is offered in a single 2TB capacity with 3D NAND flash, so there is no larger version to select.
The 1000 MBps sequential read and write rating is the peak NVMe throughput over USB 3.2 Gen 2; real-world large-file transfers will approach this speed, while mixed small files will be slower.
Both labels describe the same 10 Gbit/s interface, so the drive is capped at the USB 3.2 Gen 2 / USB 3.1 Gen 2 ceiling of roughly 1000 MBps.
