Office filing folders for letter documents

These TOPS Manila conversion folders come in a box of 100 and are designed to sit inside hanging files. Each folder matches the height of standard hanging folders so tabs stay visible. They suit offices that need lightweight separation for letter-size paperwork.

Thin kraft stock with recycled content

Made from 9.5 point ivory bleached kraft with 10 percent recycled fibre, the folders add minimal bulk to a drawer. The straight-cut top tabs keep labelling simple and the lightweight material slides easily between hanging rails during daily access.

Top-tab layout fits letter sheets

Each folder measures 8.50 inches wide by 11 inches long with a 4 inch height and 10.6 inch overall width. The straight top tab and letter sheet standard mean they align with common filing systems without obscuring adjacent labels.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 16640 conversion folder inside a hanging file without obscuring the tabs?

Place the 11-inch tall folder inside the hanging file; its 4-inch height matches the hanging folder height so the tabs remain fully visible above the conversion folder.

What replacement schedule should I expect for the 9.5 pt ivory bleached kraft folders with 10% recycled fiber?

The lightweight 9.5 pt manila stock resists normal office handling; replace individual folders when edges fray, tabs tear, or the kraft fibers become too soft to hold letter-size sheets securely.

At what point does the 9.5 pt thickness limit how many letter-size sheets the folder can hold before the tab bends?

The 9.5 pt manila stock supports a moderate letter-size stack; the tab will begin to bend once the load exceeds what the lightweight kraft structure can stiffly support.
