Product Identity

The Toshiba TLPL79 is a genuine compatible replacement projector lamp module supplied new. It includes a pre-assembled 250W UHP bulb inside its housing for direct installation in compatible Toshiba projectors.

Installation Reality

The unit arrives fully assembled so no bulb handling or alignment is required; simply remove the old module and insert the new one. The only common issue is forgetting to reset the projector’s lamp-hour counter after fitting, which leaves the replacement warning active.

Capacity and Limits

Rated output is 250 watts with an expected life of 2,000 hours in normal mode or 3,000 hours in economy mode. Brightness will gradually decline as those limits approach and the lamp must be replaced once the rated hours are reached.
