Tri-band Wi-Fi 7 router delivers 18.6 Gb/s throughput with two 10 Gb/s and four 2.5 Gb/s ports, EasyMesh support and HomeShield security
The TP-Link Archer GE800 BE19000 is a tri-band wireless router built for Wi-fi 7. It delivers up to 18.6 Gb/s aggregate throughput across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands using eight amplified internal antennas. Two 10 Gb/s WAN/LAN ports and four 2.5G LAN ports support multi-gig internet and wired devices. A browser dashboard and the Tether app provide configuration and RGB lighting control.
This router suits households that want high-speed wireless for gaming and 4K or 8K streaming with mesh expansion via EasyMesh satellites. HomeShield and WPA3 encryption add network security. Buyers who only need basic single-band connectivity or who lack multi-gig internet service will not use the 10 Gb/s and 2.5G ports. Users without Wi-fi 7 client devices cannot reach the 11520 Mb/s, 5760 Mb/s or 1376 Mb/s band rates.
Initial configuration is handled through the TP-Link Tether app on Android or iOS or via the browser-based dashboard. The app also manages mesh pairing with EasyMesh compatible satellites and RGB effects. Common issues include placing the unit where thick walls block 6 GHz 320 MHz channels, forgetting to enable Multi-Link Operation for latency reduction, and leaving HomeShield unconfigured so security features stay inactive.

A multi-Gig internet service with a 10 Gb/s Ethernet handoff is needed to saturate the two 10 Gb/s WAN/LAN ports on the Archer GE800.
The four 2.5G LAN ports on the Archer GE800 are backward compatible, so 1 Gb/s devices connect and run at their rated 1 Gb/s speed.
Use the browser-based dashboard or TP-Link Tether app to view real-time traffic and confirm the 6 GHz band is operating on a 320 MHz channel with Wi-Fi 7 clients.
