Outdoor mesh coverage

The TP-Link Deco X50-Outdoor AX3000 is a weatherproof Wi-Fi 6 access point designed for gardens, patios and outbuildings. It mounts on a wall or pole and connects via two Gigabit Ethernet ports with Power over Ethernet support. The unit is certified waterproof and dustproof for permanent outdoor installation.

Upgrade from indoor-only mesh

This access point replaces indoor nodes that cannot survive moisture or temperature extremes. The jump is worth it when you need seamless roaming between the house and outdoor areas without running a separate network name. It extends the same mesh to the backyard, guest house or garage.

Wired backhaul limits

The two RJ-45 ports operate at 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps, so the wired uplink caps at 1 Gbps. Wireless throughput reaches up to 3156 Mb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands combined. Coverage extends to roughly 2500 square feet per unit in open conditions.
