Wi-Fi 6 access point delivers 1800 Mbps dual-band speed with OFDMA and MU-MIMO for four-times capacity over Wi-Fi 5 in high-density spaces
The TP-Link EAP620 HD V3 is an AX1800 wireless access point built for high-density environments. It delivers dual-band speeds up to 1800 Mbps using Wi-Fi 6 technology with 1024-QAM and Long OFDM Symbol. OFDMA and MU-MIMO increase capacity by up to four times versus Wi-Fi 5. The compact 160 mm diameter and 33.6 mm profile fits offices, hotels, classrooms or cafés.
This unit targets installers who need centralised control via Omada SDN hardware, software or cloud controllers for features such as Mesh, Seamless Roaming, Band Steering and Load Balancing. Buyers who want a single access point without any controller platform will not use those roaming and mesh functions. It is not for homes or small offices that prefer a simple router-style setup without management software.
The radio provides 1201 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 574 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band, combining for the rated AX1800 link rate. If your client devices and backhaul can use those 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz rates, the access point matches the requirement. If the deployment needs higher aggregate throughput or different band splits, this model will not meet that target.

The access point supports 802.3 at PoE+ and Passive PoE, so a PoE+ switch or injector is one option; a DC power adapter is also included for non-PoE installations.
Omada Mesh and Seamless Roaming require Omada SDN controllers; the unit will not form a managed mesh with standalone Wi-Fi 5 hardware.
In the Omada controller dashboard, check the client link-rate column for connected devices — it should show up to 1201 Mbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz when conditions allow.
