Extending WiFi 6 coverage

The RE615X is a dual-band WiFi 6 range extender designed to push wireless signal into hard-to-cover areas using two external antennas. It targets households where the main router leaves dead zones and a single network name is preferred.

Sustained throughput and stability

Dual-band operation delivers up to 1.8 Gbps combined throughput with 1201 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 574 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. OneMesh compatibility creates a seamless roaming network with supported routers so devices stay connected while moving between nodes. The gigabit Ethernet port provides a wired backhaul or client link that does not share the wireless medium.

Compatibility checks before ordering

Verify that your existing router supports OneMesh if you want seamless roaming rather than a separate extended SSID. Ensure a mains socket is available in the chosen location because the unit plugs directly into the wall. The Tether app requires an Android or iOS device for initial setup and signal-position guidance.
