Hardwired 2K video doorbell with 180° diagonal view, colour night vision to 10 m, on-device AI person and vehicle detection, two-way audio, and microSD storage up to 512 GB
The TP-Link Tapo D130 is a hardwired video doorbell that streams 2560 x 1920 resolution footage at up to 30 fps over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. It uses a 1/2.7" progressive-scan CMOS sensor with a 1.18 mm F1.8 lens delivering a 180° diagonal field of view. On-device machine learning identifies people and vehicles, while 128-bit AES encryption with SSL/TLS and WPA3 secure the connection. Local storage supports microSD cards up to 512 GB.
Hardwired power removes battery-management cycles, so the doorbell runs continuously across the rated -20°C to 45°C operating range and 10 % to 90 % non-condensing humidity. The 850 nm IR LED provides night vision to 10 m, and the colour night-vision spotlight activates automatically in low light. Two-way audio with noise cancellation remains available during extended conversations, and the 16× digital zoom can be invoked without interrupting the live stream.
Replaces a traditional chime button or a battery-powered smart doorbell that requires periodic recharging and offers a narrower vertical view. The 4:3 aspect ratio at 2560 x 1920 captures visitors from head to toe, unlike 16:9 alternatives that crop feet or packages. The jump is worthwhile when a permanent power feed exists at the entrance and local microSD recording is preferred over cloud subscriptions. Not suited for installations without existing doorbell wiring or for users needing 5 GHz Wi-Fi connectivity.

The doorbell operates from -20°C to 45°C and draws power only through the wired connection, so it stays within normal limits during all-day use.
It is hardwired only and works with your current doorbell circuit and mechanical or digital chime.
It shares the same 2.4 GHz band but uses standard b/g/n protocols, so it coexists with legacy routers without special setup.
