Modular phone cord splitter for dual connections

The TRANS USA PRODUCTS 20-523 splits a single modular phone line into two separate jacks. It extends the reach of an existing cord while allowing two devices to share the same connection. Office and home users can add a second handset, fax or modem without rewiring the wall outlet.

Two jacks from one line cord

The in-line design converts one modular plug into two female ports so both cords plug directly into the splitter. No external power or configuration is required, and the adapter works with standard modular line cords. Buyers who need more than two connections or a different plug type will need a separate solution.

Questions about this item

Will the modular jacks on the 20-523 splitter wear out and need replacing?

The modular jacks are passive connectors with no moving parts; they do not require scheduled replacement under normal office use.

What limits the number of devices I can run through the 20-523 at the same time?

The splitter provides two female jacks from one line, so only two modular cords can be connected simultaneously.
