Rugged 2TB Portable Drive

The Transcend ESD380C is a portable solid state drive built around a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 interface. Its military-green silicone rubber case meets US military drop-test standards for shock protection. The drive stores 2TB of data and weighs 180 grams. It is designed for users who need durable, high-speed external storage.

Pocket-Sized USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Storage

The drive connects through a USB Type-C port and includes both Type-C and Type-A cables in the package. UASP support helps the host system keep the pipeline full during large transfers. Its compact dimensions of 53.6 by 12.5 by 96.5 millimetres let it sit in a pocket or bag without adding bulk. No external power adapter is required.

Sustained 2000 MB/s Sequential Write

Under continuous workloads the ESD380C maintains sequential write speeds up to 2000.0 megabytes per second. The ruggedised enclosure helps dissipate heat so performance does not throttle during long copy jobs. A 520 megabytes per second figure is also noted for reference. The drive stays responsive when moving multi-gigabyte files back to back.
