Dual rack-mount kit for TL2-F7120 and TL2-F7080

The ETH-F72 kit lets installers mount two compatible TRENDnet 10G Layer 2 Managed SFP+ switches side by side in a single 1U 19 rack space. It is designed for network administrators who need to consolidate two TL2-F7120 or TL2-F7080 units into one standard rack enclosure.

Two metal brackets and screws join the switches

The bundle supplies a pair of metal mounting brackets plus the necessary screws to lock the two switches together. These brackets only connect the switches to each other; the separate rack-mount brackets that ship with each TL2-F7120 or TL2-F7080 are still required to secure the assembly to the rack rails.

Fits exactly two compatible switches in 1U

The kit accommodates a pair of TL2-F7120 or TL2-F7080 switches and nothing else. It cannot be used with any other switch model, nor can it house a single switch or more than two units. Buyers who need to rack-mount different hardware or a different quantity must choose another solution.

Questions about this item

Will the ETH-F72 brackets need replacement if I upgrade to a different switch model later?

The ETH-F72 kit is compatible only with TL2-F7120 and TL2-F7080 switches, so a different model would require a new mounting solution.

What space limit appears first when stacking two switches in a 1U 19 rack with this kit?

The kit mounts two switches together within a single 1U 19 rack space, using the rackmount brackets from the switches themselves.

Does the metal bracket kit add any heat or noise when the switches run all day?

The ETH-F72 is a passive metal bracket kit with no fans or power draw, so it adds no noise, heat or power consumption.
