Two-computer HDMI KVM

The TRENDnet S7229H is an HDMI KVM switch that lets two computers share one monitor, keyboard and mouse. It supports PCs, laptops and consoles such as the PS4 and works with Windows 7 through 11, Linux and Mac without extra drivers. Four USB 3.0 ports — three Type-A and one Type-C — provide peripheral sharing at up to 5 Gbps. A push-button on the unit selects the active computer.

8K@60Hz sustained video

The switch passes 8K resolution at 60 Hz and is HDCP 2.3 compliant for protected content. It also handles 8K@30Hz, 4K@240Hz, 2K, 3D and 1080p signals without compression. EDID adaptive technology keeps the display handshake stable when switching sources, so the picture remains consistent during long sessions.

Fanless silent operation

With no moving parts the unit runs silently and draws minimal power from the connected computers. The metal enclosure dissipates heat passively, so temperature stays low even when 8K@60Hz video and USB 3.0 data are active simultaneously. No external power supply is required for typical keyboard, mouse and flash-drive loads.
