Connects two computers to one DisplayPort monitor at up to 8K 60 Hz and shares four USB 3.0 ports with push-button switching
This KVM switch lets two computers share one DisplayPort monitor, a keyboard, a mouse and up to four USB 3.0 peripherals. Switching is handled by front push buttons or a wired desktop controller, and LED indicators show the active port. The unit draws power from the connected computers and includes built-in cables for a tidy setup.
The switch supports video resolutions up to 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz when a DisplayPort 1.4 cable is used. USB 3.0 ports run at 5 Gbps continuously for printers, webcams or storage devices without a separate power adapter. Hot-key switching is not available, so every change requires a physical button press.
Maximum video bandwidth follows the DisplayPort 1.4 standard, so 8K at 60 Hz is the ceiling; higher refresh rates at that resolution are not possible. USB 3.0 throughput tops out at 5 Gbps, and the four ports share that bandwidth among all attached devices. The switch does not support audio or microphone switching despite the broader series listing.

The switch requires no additional power supply and has no moving parts, so it produces no fan noise and minimal heat during continuous operation.
You need two DisplayPort 1.4 cables for the computer video inputs, one DisplayPort 1.4 cable for the monitor output, and two USB 2.0 cables for the computer USB links; all cables are sold separately.
Yes, the four USB 3.0 ports are backward compatible with USB 2.0, 1.1 and 1.0 devices, so legacy keyboards, mice and printers will function normally.
