24-port blank keystone patch panel

This 1U 19-inch rackmount panel provides 24 blank keystone ports for structured cabling in commercial network racks. It is built from SPCC steel with ABS plastic components and finished in black. The unit suits installers who need a modular foundation for copper terminations.

Sustained load behaviour

The passive steel housing adds no active heat or electronic load to the rack, so thermal performance depends entirely on the installed keystone jacks and surrounding airflow. Pre-numbered ports and supplementary labels stay legible during long-term moves, adds and changes. No power or cooling requirements are introduced by the panel itself.

Installation and common issues

Mounting hardware and a quick installation guide are included for standard 19-inch racks. The panel accepts TC-K25C6 and TC-K50C6 Cat6 keystone jacks, which must be purchased separately. A frequent problem is ordering the panel without budgeting for the required jacks, leaving ports empty at commissioning.

Questions about this item

Does the 1U high metal housing generate noticeable heat or fan noise when mounted in a rack all day?

The panel is a passive steel frame with no fans or active components, so it produces no heat or noise of its own.

Which keystone jacks do I need to buy separately before the 24 ports become usable?

TRENDnet TC-K25C6 and TC-K50C6 Cat6 keystone jacks are the recommended modules; they snap into each of the 24 blank ports.

Will the 19-inch wide panel line up with the mounting holes on my older 19-inch rack?

Yes, the 19.00-inch width and standard 1U height match common 19-inch rack spacing for straightforward installation.
