N300 PoE access point for small networks

The TEW-755AP creates a 2.4 GHz wireless network at up to 300 Mbps using 802.11n. It supports access point, client, WDS bridge, WDS station and repeater modes. A Windows-based software controller manages multiple units from one interface. The unit is powered by 802.3af PoE or the supplied 12 V adapter.

Limits of the 2.4 GHz 802.11n interface

The single radio operates only in the 2.412–2.472 GHz band, so it cannot use 5 GHz channels. Maximum PHY rate is 300 Mbps with two spatial streams. Receiver sensitivity reaches -61 dBm at the top 802.11n rate and -76 dBm at 11 Mbps. Modulation includes DBPSK, DQPSK, CCK, BPSK, QPSK, 16-QAM, 64-QAM and 256-QAM.

IP30 housing with ceiling mount and Gigabit PoE

The off-white, low-profile enclosure measures 1.80" x 7.30" x 7.30" and weighs 1.01 lbs. An IP30 rating applies when the mounting plate is installed. One Gigabit LAN port accepts PoE and provides the sole wired uplink. Front-panel buttons cover reset, WPS and power. Operating range is 0°C to 40°C at up to 95 % non-condensing humidity.
