Outdoor directional access point delivers WiFi 6 AX1200 point-to-point bridging up to 1 km with 14 dBi gain and IP55 weather protection
The TEW-940APBO is a directional outdoor access point built for 5 GHz WiFi 6 point-to-point links up to 1 km. It serves installers who need a dedicated wireless bridge between two fixed locations. It is not suited for clients who need omnidirectional coverage or indoor mesh distribution.
The IP55-rated enclosure measures 82 x 257 x 50 mm and weighs 598 g, with integrated wall and pole mounting hardware included. Power arrives through a proprietary 54 V passive PoE injector, so no separate outdoor mains outlet is required at the antenna site. The narrow 14 dBi beam focuses energy along the link axis.
The box supplies the 54 V DC 0.6 A PoE injector, mounting brackets and a quick installation guide. Web, SSH and SNMP interfaces let administrators configure up to 8 SSIDs, VLAN tagging per SSID, band steering, airtime fairness and scheduled radio operation without additional licence fees.

The access point connects through a proprietary passive PoE injector that supplies 54V DC at 0.6A and carries data over IEEE 802.3, 802.3u and 802.3ab links, capping the wired side at Gigabit Ethernet rates.
The box supplies wall and pole mounting brackets that bolt to the unit's 82 x 257 x 50 mm IP55 rated housing for outdoor installation.
Connect the supplied 54V passive PoE injector between the AP and your router, then log into the web or SSH interface to set the radio mode to Access Point, Client Bridge or Repeater; the step often missed is aligning the 14 dBi directional antenna using the signal-quality LEDs before locking the mount.
