The TFC-1600MM slides into a TFC-1600 fiber chassis and gives administrators SNMP and web-browser control over installed media converters and power supplies. It is aimed at network teams that need central visibility of link status, duplex state and converter speed without visiting each device.

Thermals and power reporting

The module polls the chassis cooling fan and power supply units, then surfaces real-time status through SNMP v1, v2c or v3 traps and a web dashboard. No external power adapter is required; the unit draws its supply from the chassis backplane.

Console and Ethernet access

A front-panel RS-232 console port offers a command-line interface for initial setup or out-of-band troubleshooting. The 10/100 Mbps RJ-45 management port enables browser-based configuration and remote monitoring from any workstation on the LAN.
