Extends a PoE or PoE+ network connection up to 100 metres, with daisy-chaining for 300 metres total, in an IP30-rated industrial enclosure
The TRENDnet TI-E100 is a Gigabit PoE+ extender built for industrial environments. It accepts a single PoE or PoE+ input and forwards both data and power to a remote device without needing a local power supply. The IP30-rated metal enclosure supports DIN-rail or wall mounting and operates across a wide temperature range of -40° to 75°C (-40° to 167°F).
Installers who need to push a PoE connection beyond the standard 100m copper limit will find this unit fits the task. It adds up to 100m (328 ft.) per extender, and two units can be cascaded for a total reach of 300m (984 ft.) at 50V input. Buyers who require fibre uplink ports, managed switching features, or outdoor-rated enclosures should consider other product types.
The decisive specification is the single Gigabit PoE+ input and single Gigabit PoE+ output port pair. This one-in, one-out architecture means each extender serves exactly one remote powered device. Projects that need to split power to multiple endpoints from a single cable run cannot use this device.

The extender auto-detects IEEE 802.3af (15.4 W) or IEEE 802.3at (30 W) input, so your source equipment must comply with either standard.
Yes. The Gigabit PoE+ out port is backward compatible with IEEE 802.3 and 802.3u, so 10/100 devices receive both data and PoE/PoE+ power.
The on-board LED indicators show power and link status; steady illumination on both ports means the extender has negotiated a valid PoE/PoE+ connection at up to 100 m.
