A hardened DIN-rail switch with eight Gigabit PoE+ ports, two SFP slots and a 240 W PoE budget for industrial networks
The TI-PG102i is a ten-port Layer 2 managed switch built for industrial networks. Eight Gigabit PoE+ ports deliver up to 240W at 48V DC or 124W at 24V DC to power cameras, wireless points and sensors. Two SFP slots accept 100/1000Base-FX modules for fiber uplinks. An IP30-rated metal housing withstands vibration, shock and temperatures from -40° to 75°C.
This switch replaces basic unmanaged models when you need VLAN segmentation, QoS prioritisation, LACP link aggregation or SNMP monitoring. The jump is worth it when PoE devices require remote reboot via the alive-check feature or when redundant 24-57V DC inputs are needed for uptime. It adds 20Gbps switching capacity and a 128MB buffer over entry-level hardware.
Under continuous 253W maximum draw the hardened enclosure dissipates heat without fans across the full -40° to 75°C range. Store-and-forward switching maintains wire-speed 2000Mbps full-duplex throughput on every Gigabit port while the 8K MAC table and 10KB jumbo frames handle heavy traffic. Dual DC terminals keep the switch running if one supply fails.

The switch measures 1.97" x 6.30" x 4.72" and includes a DIN-rail mounting bracket.
Connect 24-57V DC to the primary PWR terminals, observing polarity; a common error is leaving the redundant RPS terminals unwired when backup power is required.
The two SFP slots accept 100/1000Base-FX modules that can be swapped as link distances change, and the PoE budget of 240W at 48V DC or 124W at 24V DC should be rechecked when powered devices are added or replaced.
