Target User

Deciding Specification

The DVI-I male connectors on both ends determine whether the cable matches the video ports on your computer and KVM switch; verify that both devices present DVI-I sockets before ordering.

Questions about this item

Will the DVI-I, USB, or 3.5 mm connectors on the 15 ft cable kit wear out and need replacement?

The DVI-I, USB Type A, USB Type B, and 3.5 mm plugs are passive metal contacts rated for thousands of insertions; under normal desktop use they rarely require replacement.

What is the first limit reached when the TK-CD15 runs continuously at its 15 ft length?

Signal integrity over the 15 ft DVI-I and USB runs is the limiting factor; the cables meet specification at this length, so no earlier electrical limit appears.

Does the 15 ft KVM cable kit generate any noise, heat, or extra power draw during all-day operation?

The kit is entirely passive with no active electronics, so it produces no fan noise, no measurable heat, and draws no power of its own.
