Lets two laptops share one monitor at up to 8K@60Hz or 4K@120Hz with button or remote switching and 100W charging
This KVM switch lets two laptops share a single USB-C monitor and peripherals. It requires each laptop to support USB-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode for video output. A standard USB 3.1 Gen 2 cable must be used for the connection and a separate USB cable powers the unit. The switch works with Windows, Mac OS and Linux without drivers.
The switch maintains up to 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz and 1080p at 165 Hz during continuous use. It also handles ultra-wide resolutions such as 3440 by 1440. Data moves at 10 Gbps while the USB-C port delivers up to 100 W of charging power to the active laptop. Switching between computers takes roughly four to seven seconds.
Press the front button or use the included 1.5 metre wired remote to change the active laptop; an LED shows which system is selected. The box contains built-in cables so there are no extra cords to buy. Mac OS can only mirror two external screens, not extend them, and the switch is not compatible with MacBook Pro models.
