Leakproof SlipResist Drop Cloth

The TRIMACO 90088 drop cloth protects floors and surfaces during painting, automotive detailing or general maintenance. Its leakproof barrier stops liquid from soaking through to the substrate below. The slip-resistant coating helps keep the cloth in place while you work. It is sold new and ready for immediate use.

Polyester pulp barrier limits

The polyester and pulp construction resists penetration by water-based and solvent-based liquids up to the material's 10 mil thickness. Heavy pooling or prolonged exposure can eventually overcome the barrier. Sharp tools or abrasive debris dragged across the surface may puncture the fabric. The cloth is not rated for chemical containment beyond incidental spills.

10 mil thickness decides fit

The single specification that determines suitability is the 10 mil thickness. Thinner cloths tear more easily and leak sooner; thicker cloths are stiffer and harder to drape. Choose this weight when you need a balance of durability and flexibility for standard interior or exterior prep work.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 6 ft by 8 ft leakproof drop cloth or a different size?

The listed model 90088 comes in a single 6 ft by 8 ft size with a 10 mil thickness, so there is no other version to choose from.

How does the 10 mil thickness perform when paint is spilled on a real job site?

At 10 mil the polyester and pulp construction stops liquid from soaking through while the slip-resistant surface keeps the cloth in place under foot traffic.

What does the leakproof barrier actually stop in everyday use?

The leakproof layer blocks paint, stain and water from reaching the floor beneath the 6 ft by 8 ft cloth during interior or exterior work.
