TRIMACO 90099 Extra Heavy-Duty Drop Cloth

This TRIMACO 90099 drop cloth measures 15 ft by 4 ft and is built from a polyester and pulp blend. The 10 mil thickness delivers leakproof protection and a slip-resistant surface. It is designed for professional painters and DIY users who need reliable floor and furniture coverage. The blue colour makes it easy to spot on a busy job site.

Suited for interior painting and renovation projects

The cloth works well for anyone laying down a single large sheet to protect flooring, carpeting or furnishings during brush, roller or sprayer work. Its leakproof construction stops paint soak-through while the slip-resistant finish helps keep ladders and footing stable. Buyers who need multiple smaller cloths for separate rooms or who prefer a lighter disposable plastic sheet should consider other options.

10 mil thickness provides leakproof barrier

The 10 mil rating is the key specification that determines whether this cloth meets the durability and spill-containment needs of a given project. Thinner cloths may tear or allow seepage under heavy use, while this extra heavy-duty rating is intended to withstand repeated foot traffic and larger spills. Match the thickness to the expected wear and liquid volume on the job.

Questions about this item

Do I need a frame or fasteners to secure the 15 ft by 4 ft drop cloth?

The cloth lays flat on its own; its 10 mil thickness and slip-resistant coating keep it in place without extra frames or fasteners.

Can I reuse the 10 mil blue drop cloth after a solvent-based paint spill?

Yes, the polyester and pulp blend is leakproof, so solvents stay on the surface and the cloth can be wiped clean for another job.

How do I confirm the 15 ft by 4 ft drop cloth is leakproof once it is down?

Pour a small amount of water on the cloth; if it beads and does not soak through to the floor, the leakproof barrier is working.
