TRIMACO 949660 Self-Adhesive Film Roll

TRIMACO 949660 is a clear polyethylene containment film supplied on a self-adhesive roll. It measures six feet wide by seventy-two feet long with a thickness of .5 mil. The film creates a temporary barrier that sticks to surfaces without separate tape.

Suits dust containment and surface protection jobs

Painters and contractors covering large floors, windows or doorways will find the wide roll efficient. The light .5 mil gauge tears easily and lacks the strength for heavy debris, abrasion or repeated foot traffic. Buyers needing a tougher membrane should look at a heavier product.

Six-foot width by seventy-two-foot length

The single specification that decides fit is the roll size: six feet wide by seventy-two feet long at .5 mil thickness. Verify that the coverage area and film gauge match the containment task before ordering.

Questions about this item

What surface must be clean and dry before applying the 949660 film?

The film adheres directly to floors, walls or equipment, so the surface must be free of dust, oil and moisture before you press the polyethylene sheet into place.

Can the .5 mil film be layered over an existing plastic drop cloth without tearing?

Yes, the clear polyethylene sticks to itself and to common polyethylene drop cloths, allowing you to seal seams or add a second barrier without damaging either layer.

How do I confirm the 72 ft roll has unrolled straight and fully adhered?

The film is transparent, so you can visually inspect the entire length for wrinkles, gaps or lifted edges immediately after application.
