It allows direct local control of up to eight servers or computers from a single keyboard, mouse and monitor. Remote access is available over LAN, WAN or the Internet for administrators who need to manage systems from anywhere. The unit supports video resolutions up to 1920 x 1080.

Each target system must provide an HDMI video output and a USB port for keyboard and mouse signals. The package includes two 6 ft HDMI cables and two 6 ft USB 2.0 A/B cables, so additional cables are required for the remaining six ports.
