Controls up to eight servers via Cat5 with one local and one remote user, virtual media, dual C14 power inlets, laptop console port and TAA compliance in a 1U rack unit
The Tripp Lite B064-008-01-IPG is a 1U rack-mount KVM switch that provides BIOS-level control of up to 8 computers or servers from a single console. It supports 1 local and 1 remote user simultaneously and includes Virtual Media for remote storage access. The unit is TAA compliant for GSA Schedule purchases.
The switch uses Cat5 cabling to connect up to 8 target systems directly, including blade servers. Dual redundant C14 power inlets maintain operation if one supply fails. Flash-upgradable firmware over Ethernet allows compatibility updates without server-resident software.
Included hardware mounts the unit in a standard 19-inch rack using 1U of space. A dedicated LUC port enables direct laptop connection for local console operation. No server-side software is required, preserving host performance and reliability.
