It provides local rack-side control for up to 16 computers or servers. The unit is built for IT professionals who manage data-center equipment and need a compact, all-in-one console solution.

1366 x 768 LCD and Cat5e/6 reach

The integrated screen supports video resolutions up to 1366 x 768, which covers typical server console output but will not display higher-resolution desktops at native detail. Cat5e or Cat6 cabling links the switch to compatible B078-series server interface modules up to 100 feet away, so the console can sit at one end of a row while the servers occupy the other.

Three simultaneous users and dual LAN redundancy

One local operator and two remote users can access the 16 ports at the same time through the web interface or the on-screen display. Dual 10/100 LAN ports provide a fallback path if one network connection fails. The switch operates from an internal 100-240 VAC 50/60 Hz supply and is rated for 0 to 40 °C ambient temperature with up to 80 % non-condensing humidity.
