USB Server Interface Unit for NetCommander Switches

The B078-101-USB-1 connects a USB server to B070 or B072-Series NetCommander KVM switches. It converts USB and HD15 ports to a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable output. This unit is designed for server administrators managing rack-mounted equipment.

External form factor with plug-and-play installation

The compact, lightweight design requires no external power supply or software. It supports cable runs up to 98 ft with a recommended maximum of 100 ft between the server and KVM switch. Using Cat5e/6 cabling reduces bulk and improves airflow in server cabinets compared to traditional KVM cables.

Replaces bulky direct-attach KVM cable assemblies

The switch to Cat5e/6 cabling is worth it when you need longer runs or better ventilation in dense racks. It is not suited for environments requiring longer distances than 100 ft or for servers lacking USB and HD15 video ports.
