Digital-signage extender kit

This DisplayPort-over-Cat6 extender kit connects a local source to a remote display up to 230 feet away, making it suitable for conference rooms, schools, trade shows and retail signage installations. It transmits Ultra HD video at 3840 x 2160 resolution at 30 Hz with multi-channel audio and 4:4:4 color subsampling. The transmitter includes a local HDMI output for on-site monitoring of the extended signal.

Passive cooling with PoC power

The receiver draws power over the Cat6 cable through built-in Power over Cable technology, removing the need for an external power adapter at the display end. With no fan or active cooling required, the units operate silently in meeting facilities, houses of worship or hotel environments. HDCP 2.2 compliance ensures protected content passes without interruption.

Replaces direct cabling for long runs

This kit replaces a direct DisplayPort or HDMI cable when the source and display are separated by more than standard cable lengths allow. The jump is worth it when 4K 30 Hz video must reach 230 feet with zero added power outlets at the remote screen. It does not serve setups that require 60 Hz refresh rates, higher resolutions or fiber-distance extensions.
